Purple Line

Whitefield (Kadugodi) ↔ Challaghatta

Times are departures from the terminus named. From a station part way along the line, the first train is later and the last train earlier.

First trains leave both terminals at 5:00 AM Monday to Saturday and at 7:00 AM on Sundays. The last train from Whitefield (Kadugodi) is at 10:45 PM and the last from Challaghatta at 11:05 PM, so the two ends do not close at the same time. Trains come every 20 minutes for the first stretch of the morning, every 8 minutes through the middle of the day, and every 15 minutes after 10:00 PM. Short-loop services from Garudachar Palya and Mysore Road overlay the central section, bringing it to about 5 minutes.

Green Line

Madavara ↔ Silk Institute

Times are departures from the terminus named. From a station part way along the line, the first train is later and the last train earlier.

First trains leave both terminals at 5:00 AM Monday to Saturday and at 7:00 AM on Sundays. The last train from Madavara is just before 11:00 PM and the last from Silk Institute at 11:05 PM. Trains come every 15 minutes as service opens, every 7 to 8 minutes through the middle of the day, and every 12 to 15 minutes at the end of service. Short-loop services from Nagasandra and Yelachenahalli overlay the central section at about 5 minutes.

Yellow Line

Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road ↔ Delta Electronics Bommasandra

Times are departures from the terminus named. From a station part way along the line, the first train is later and the last train earlier.

The Yellow Line starts later than the rest of the network: first trains are at 6:00 AM Monday to Saturday and 7:00 AM on Sundays, rather than 5:00 AM. It also runs later, with the last train from Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road at 11:55 PM — though the last from Delta Electronics Bommasandra is 10:42 PM, more than an hour earlier. Trains come as often as every 6 minutes at the busiest times on weekdays; on Saturdays and Sundays the best is about 10 minutes.

Planning Around Timings

• First and last trains are quoted from a terminus. A station part way along a line sees the first train later and the last train earlier, by roughly the running time from that terminus.
• Journey times shown on route pages are in-vehicle only. They exclude waiting for the first train and time spent walking between platforms at an interchange.
• If you are catching a last train with a change, the connection is the risk — the second line may stop running before the first.
