Metro2Go compiles publicly available information to describe metro networks and to plan routes. This page lists our sources and attribution.

Map Tiles

Base map tiles are served by OpenFreeMap, built on data from OpenStreetMap contributors, © OpenStreetMap contributors.

By Network

• Delhi Metro — stations and lines from public transit information, cross-checked against DMRC’s static GTFS feed. Fares are DMRC’s published slabs effective 25 August 2025, with a separate station-to-station table for the Airport Express. First and last trains, and frequency by section, are DMRC’s own figures.
• Noida Metro — fares and timings from NMRC’s passenger-information pages. Fares are charged by stations travelled, not distance.
• Namma Metro — stations, order, structure and coordinates from public reference sources. Fares are BMRCL’s published chart effective 14 February 2025, charged by stations travelled. Timings are BMRCL’s own timetables.
• Rapid Metro Gurugram — the line is operated by HMRTC, and its fares and first and last trains are read from DMRC, which ran it until 2024 and still carries its timetable. Line facts and frequency from public reference sources.

Opening dates and ridership figures are from public reference sources, written in our own words rather than reproduced. Ridership is shown with the year it was reported, because these figures are revised and a bare number would imply it is current.

Fares

Every network shows its operator’s published fares rather than our estimates. A journey crossing operators is charged by each one separately and summed, which is how such travel is billed.

Fares change. If the effective date shown alongside a fare table is not the operator’s current one, treat the figures as out of date and tell us.

Timings

First and last trains are departures from a terminus, and they differ by direction on most lines, so both ends are given. A station part way along a line sees the first train later and the last earlier. Frequency is published per section on some networks, because the figure at a line’s outer end can be double the one at its core.

Journey times shown by the planner are a separate thing: computed from measured segment timings where a feed provides them, and estimated from distance where it does not. They exclude waiting for the first train and time spent walking between platforms.

Where a figure comes from a reference work rather than the operator, the page carrying it says so.
