How much does a Namma Metro ticket cost?

Single journeys run from ₹10 to ₹90, on BMRCL's published table. Fares are charged by the number of stations travelled, not distance.

Is there a Namma Metro smart card discount?

Yes. A stored-value card takes 5% off every fare, rising to 10% outside the busiest hours.

Smart-card fares include the 5% discount, rising to 10% during off-peak hours.

Fares depend on how many stations you pass, so a short hop between widely spaced stations can cost less than a string of closely spaced ones.
A journey crossing operators is charged by each one separately and the fares are added — it is not one fare for the whole trip.
