About Delhi Metro

Delhi Metro is operated by DMRC and reaches five cities beyond Delhi: Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Bahadurgarh. Its largest line is the Blue Line with 57 stations. Four lines carry branches that leave the main route, so the platform indicator matters as much as the line colour.

It opened on 25 December 2002. With about 6.5 million riders a day as of 2025, it is India's largest and busiest metro.

Journey times use published running times for 241 of the network's 262 segments; the remaining 21 are estimated from distance. Fares are DMRC's published table, effective 25 August 2025. Times exclude waiting for the first train and the walk between platforms.
