The Aqua Line is the whole of the Noida Metro: a single 29.7 km corridor of 21 elevated stations running from Noida Sector 51 down through the Noida–Greater Noida expressway sectors to Depot Station. It opened on 25 January 2019 and is owned by the Noida Metro Rail Corporation, with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation running the trains under contract. For most riders its defining feature is what it is not: it does not physically join the Delhi Metro. The change at Noida Sector 51 is a walk to a separate station, Noida Sector 52, on the Blue Line — and because the two networks bill separately, a trip from Delhi pays a DMRC fare and an NMRC fare.

The Aqua Line is a rapid transit metro line on the Noida Metro with 21 stations. It runs between Noida Sector 51 and Depot Station. It has no interchange stations. The line threads the eastern and southern edge of Noida before crossing into Greater Noida. At the Delhi end it serves Sector 51 and Sector 50, close to Meghdootam Park, then the residential sectors around 76, 101 and 81 near Ved Van Park. NSEZ is the Noida Special Economic Zone. From Sector 137 southward the line follows the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway through the office and institutional belt — Central Park and the Biodiversity Park at Sector 137, the DFCCL offices at Sector 146, the GST office at Sector 148 — before reaching Knowledge Park II, where the India Expo Centre and Mart and the Pt. Din Dayal Upadhyay Institute of Archaeology sit. Pari Chowk is the centre of Greater Noida and the stop for the Buddha International Circuit, with Alpha 1, Delta 1 and the GNIDA Office beyond it.

• Treat a Delhi–Noida trip as two journeys.
• The Aqua Line does not connect to the Delhi Metro inside the gates: you leave Noida Sector 51, walk about six minutes to Noida Sector 52, and buy a separate ticket for the Blue Line.
• Budget for two fares and for the walk.
• Fares here depend on how many stations you pass rather than how far you go, so a short hop between two widely spaced expressway stations can cost less than a string of closely spaced ones.
• A smart card takes 10% off every journey, and Sundays and the three national holidays use a lower scale all day.
• If you enter and leave at the same station you are still charged the ₹10 minimum.
• Tickets can be bought as a QR code through the NMRC app or on WhatsApp, and machines at every station top up smart cards by UPI.

Services run from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM Monday to Saturday, with the first train leaving both Noida Sector 51 and Depot Station at 6:00 AM and the last at 10:00 PM. On Sundays the first train is at 8:00 AM from both terminals; the last is still 10:00 PM. Because an end-to-end run takes roughly 45 minutes, the final trains reach the far terminal at about 10:45 PM.
